I have written a user material for Abaqus to simulate the behavior of trabecular bone in large strain compression. The model undergoes elastic and plastic deformation. In the plastic regime, hardening and damage are growing depending on cumulated plastic strain.

I am modelling two plates that have been attached to each other using screws. i have modelled some springs for the screws. the shell element has been used for the plates. i want to assign the spring element (say SPRINGA) for the screws but i do not know how.

As announced on 5 Oct. 2010, Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov of the University of Manchester won the 2010 Nobel Prize in physics "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene".
