I am pursuing Master of Technilogy at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (India) in mechanical department. Currently, I am working at dynamic buckling of thin walled circular cylindrical shell under uniform radial pressure.  I want to go for PhD, if anywhere , anyone working at plate and shell theory and nonlinear dynamics and vibration and solid mechanics. Hi forum members i want to model any composite materials in ansys software. For modeling a composite material in ansys what are the elements i should choose and the material properties i should give for the composite. Please help me. Thanks.

I am working on my M.s.a thesis about Numerical simulation of fatigue strenght of resistance spot welding joints of coated thin.At first I need to model a  steel palte with three different coating on it and apply a thermal analysis to achive to residual stress distribution.I couldent find any journal or paper in this field and dont know  from where i should exactly start my simulation in ANSYS.can you help me?
