In response to a NSF call for proposal on Cyberinfrastructure Training, Education, Advancement, and Mentoring for Our 21st Century Workforce (CI-TEAM), in June 2006, several of us submitted a proposal entitled "iMechanica: Leveraging Cyberinfrastructure to Evolve All Knowledge of Applied Mechanics"
Dear all,
Recently I got something info from my colleagues about Carbon Fiber. Now more and more this kind material is using in Aerospace, and it has a very nice future.
As it's very abrasive when cutting it, so there's lots of problems for machining.
So, could you anyone give me some info about this material? or where can I go for it?
thanks a lot
Hi,
I am modeling a deep drawing process in ABAQUS, but i don't know how to difine pressure-overclosure and what it's effect is.Please guide me,thanks.
Dr. Jun Lou and Dr. Junlan Wang are co-editing a special issue on Nanomechanics and Nanostructured Multifunctional Materials: Experiments, Theories, and Simulations for Journal of Nanomaterials, an open access journal. Papers on latest developments on all aspects of nanomechanics and nanostructured materials are welcome. Deadline for manuscript submission is September 01, 2007.

How we can examine the equilibrium state of a Isothermal molecular system..
I am doing a code for MD with scaling the velocities to keep the temp. constant..so here with that energy is not conserved..so wat is the measure to fix the number of time steps to stop the run at equilibrium state..
Hi , I am a working on a project of Continuum Damage mechanics in Composite . But I do not have much idea about Damage mechanics . I am getting lot of diffculites to understand this topic .
So please anyone let me know any basic literature, lecture notes where I can find all basic information about Damage mechanics .
Thanks in Advance,
Regards.
