One postdoctoral position in advanced concrete materials starting May 2012
Dear All,
I am looking for one postdoctor to work on advanced concrete materials and modeling. The desired candidates will have a solid knowledge on concrete materials and mechanics, and are familiar with advanced modeling of hydration, water or chemical transfer in concrete. Extra considerations will be given to candidates with some experimental experiences on concrete microstructures and material characterization.
Postdoctoral Position in Solid Mechanics
The Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh anticipates an opening for a postdoctoral associate starting January 2012. The position’s primary area of research will focus on mechanics of micro-scale deformation processes and characterizing the thermomechanics of deformation at micrometer length-scales. Applicants with a strong background in computational solid mechanics and crystal plasticity will be preferred.

PhD and Post-doctoral Associate Positions Available at Rice University
Ph.D and postdoctoral associate positions are available at Rice University in the broad area of atomistic, molecular and multiscale modeling of cement-based materials. The projects include carrying out bottom-up atomistic and microtexture predictive simulations.
