The Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras is seeking to fill Assistant Professor openings in the broad area of Structural Mechanics.  Current focus areas include but are not limited to Structural Dynamics, Composites, Structural Optimization, Smart structures, Aircraft Structural Design, Space Structures and Rotorcraft Dynamics; candidates with an inclination for experimental work are preferred..  Applications will be accepted till the vacancies are filled.  Applicants must hold an earned Ph.D.
