Camera For DIC(Digital Image Correlation)

Submitted by ali_mechanic_64 on

Hello everybody

I am trying to  prepare DIC setup for my project. I was wondering if anybody knows about  the minimum requirements for the camera in a static and also in a dynamic test(charectrictics such as resolution, shutter speed and anything else that might be important).I found a sony camera with 1 Mpixel resolution and 7.5 fps shutter speed (that is valued at 1000$) that somebody told me this is suitable for a static test.

thanks in advance

buckling of CFRP under combine axial compression and torsion loading.

Submitted by firozahmed49 on

hi,

I have to perform an non-linear buckling analysis over CFRP cylindrical shell in ansys. now i am little bit confuse how to perform this combined loading in ansys.in order to buckle some impurities (pertubation/imperfection ) must be included into the shell as this combine loading is purely in-plane loading case. this impurities i was including by performing a eigen value buckling during pure torsional loading and pure axial compression individually. but this is not much convinient during combine loading.

So my quries are
