PhD positions at SUNY Binghamton
We have 1-2 PhD positions funded by NSF in 2022 Fall at SUNY Binghamton, New York.
The research will be on: (1) Multiphysics modeling & simulation for soft composites in flexible electronics, and/or (2) Design/fabrication of novel architected composites. Students with a solid mechanics or relevant background are desired. You will perform multiphysics finite element simulation (ABAQUS), nonlinear constitutive modeling, and soft composites fabrication/testing (CT imaging, etc.).
