Simpleware will be running a series of free workshops in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne from March 23rd to April 1st 2015

These will include an overview of using the software to visualise, analyse, process and generate models from 3D image data (MRI, CT, micro-CT...). Learn how to obtain very high quality models from image data, how to integrate CAD objects with images, how to calculate effective material properties using Finite Element-based homogenisation techniques, and about exporting robust FE and CFD meshes for simulation in other software.

The fifth biennial workshop on 'Direct Methods' will be held in Oxford, UK on 6^th to 8^th September 2015.  It follows on from previous successful workshops held in Aachen, Lille, Athens and Reggio Calabria (see http://www.iadime.unirc.it/ ).
