About the role
We have one or more postdoc positions available, to be filled immediately, at MIT’s Laboratory for Atomistic and Molecular Mechanics, under the direction of Professor Markus Buehler. We are looking for postdocs in two broad areas, as described below.
Position #1: Materials science modeling

We invite applications for fully funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions with the Bio-inspired Robotics & Design Laboratory (http://brd.sutd.edu.sg) at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
The project will investigate modelling, simulation and optimisation of soft robots and structures using computational mechanics. Research areas include: structural and morphological optimisation and multi-physics optimisation.
Several postdoctoral and graduate student openings with primary focus on biomechanics is available immediately in the Shenoy Research Group at the University of Pennsylvania. We are looking for strongly motivated candidates to work on NIH supported projects on a) cell-matrix interactions in fibrosis and cancer and 2) mechanical mechanisms of traumatic brain injury.
I am looking to recruit a highly motivated and independent postdoctoral researcher to study, via the development of new computational techniques, various scientific issues surrounding phononic topological insulators. The position is available for a 1-year duration, with possible extension to future years depending on the availability of funding.
Requirements for the position include:
1. A strong background in computational solid mechanics, and in particular topology optimization techniques (i.e. level set-based)
