The advanced course will comprise of distinguished lectures from the following experts:



- Ferdinando Auricchio (University of Pavia, Italy)

- Antonio Huerta (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain)

The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences seeks applicants for the position of Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics, with an expected start date of July 1, 2014. Position is available for a postdoctoral fellow to carry out an industry sponsored project on carbon fiber composite modeling. The contract is initiated for one year, with possible extension if work progresses satisfactorily. The research will focus on

 (1)  micromechanics modeling of elastic and viscoplastic behavior of injection molded carbon fiber composites;
