An enthusiastic and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher is sought to work in the area of computational biomechanics by Dr. Kun Zhou’s group in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The objective of the research is to study the tribological behaviors and damage mechanisms of joints and implants.  The candidates should have relevant research expertise, experience in numerical modeling, and excellent writing skills. The contract will be one year and renewable subject to performance. 

Multiscale computation and modelling of granular materials

 

The energy/bio/nanomechanics group under the direction of Prof. Xi Chen at Columbia University is looking to recruit a highly motivated and independent postdoctoral researcher to study, based on computational nanomechanics and multiscale modeling, the mechanisms of energy absorption, conversion, harvesting, and storage using nanomaterials. The initial appointment is one year and the position can be renewed based on performance.

 

A postdoctoral position is available for a highly
motivated candidate to study the physical principles of cell motility in the
Biophysics Group of the Interfaces & Complex Fluids Lab at the University
of Mons in collaboration with the Bio- and Soft Matter Group of the Institute
of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences at the Université catholique de Louvain.
