I am modeling an embedded elliptical crack in finite solid in ANSYS 10.0.For mode-II and III calculation of energy release rate, I am not able to transform the forces in the local coordinate system as required in case of elliptical cracks.The loading is perpendicular to crack.
Please help me with the required Force Tranformations. In case of elliptical cracks forces obtained from ANSYS are in global coordinate system as Fx,Fyand Fz.I need to transform Fy and Fz in local coordinate system.

DL_POLY for nano simulation. I am beginners in the field of MD. I am
using DL_POLY_3. Can you please tell me that is it possible to simulate
the GROWTH of NANOTUBE using DL_POLY?

I am Ramin Aghababaei , new PhD student at Mechanical Department of National University of Singapore. My thesis is about finite element modelling of nanocomposites. Because I am at the first way of my research, I want to know more about my research topic and know exactly why I want to do or what is the problem and how can I solve it?
