Postdoc position in dynamics of magnetic structures at ENSTA ParisTech and Ecole Polytechnique (France)

ENSTA ParisTech and Ecole Polytechnique are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on the dynamics of magnetic structures.

The objective of the project is to characterize the effects of a strong permanent magnetization on the dynamic mechanical behavior of flexible structures. (See full details in attachment)

The 1st International Conference on Mechanics of Composites will be hosted by Stony Brook University, Long Island, New York, USA. This conference intends to bring forward the best research and applications on composite materials and structures. The conference has the support of Composite Structures, an International Journal of Elsevier.

The Conference will take place from 8-12 June 2014. 

John Rogers will give the Thurston Lecture at ASME IMECE 2013

Professor John Rogers is the recepient of the Robert Henry Thurston Lecture Award this year, and he will give the Thurston Lecture at 10am on Monday, November 18 during the ASME IMECE 2013. The location is the Elizabeth Ballroom (section H), 2nd floor at the Manchester Grand Hyatt.
