We look for 4 postdoctoral researchers (or equivalent by experience) in the field of software development for and nondestructive inspection of 3D printed components. The targeted sectors of application are medical and high-end industrial applications. Companies are strongly involved in the research projects.

Two PhD positions are available in the Multifunctional Polymers and Composites Laboratory at Colorado State University. Prior experimental and hands-on experiences are preferred but not required. PhD position for developing an efficient computational platform for additive manufacturing by multi-scale approach and model reduction technique under the framework of finite element and level-set formulation. The additive manufacturing process that will be considered is the SLM process (Selective Laser Melting) for metals.

The inventory of biomaterials that can be used in this way continues to increase, extending the possible range of products and applications.
