Minisymposium „COMPUTATIONAL MODELING AND VIRTUAL TESTING OF COMPOSITE STRUCTURES“ at ECCM-ECFD in Glasgow
<p>Dear colleagues, the 6th European Conference on Computational Mechanics (Solids, Structures and Coupled Problems) (ECCM 6) and the 7th European Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics (ECFD 7) will be jointly organized in Glasgow, UK. As co-organizers of the Minisymposium „COMPUTATIONAL MODELING AND VIRTUAL TESTING OF COMPOSITE STRUCTURES“ (MS160), we are glad to invite you to present and share your latest research and perspectives in the field of modeling and simulation of modern composite structures.
Active Materials Mini-Symposium, ECCM 6, Glasgow, June 11-15, 2018 (last call)
The next European Conference on Computational Mechanics (ECCM - ECFD) will take place from
June 11th to 15th, 2018, in Glasgow, UK.
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in our mini symposium:
MS 58 “Experiments and modeling of smart active materials with electro- and magneto-mechanical coupling“ (more info here)
The deadline for abstract submission is January 31th, 2018.
Submit your abstracts to the International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials
You are invited to submit your research to the twelfth International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials, which will be held in scenic Cape Cod at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Hyannis, Massachusetts from the 16-21 September 2018. It will bring together delegates from around the world to discuss how to characterize, predict, and analyze the fatigue damage of structural materials.
MSE 2018 / Invitation to submit your abstract
I’m very happy to inform you, that among others, Markus Stricker and me are Symposium-Organizers of the Materials Science and Engineering Congress 2018 (MSE) and would like to invite you to submit your abstract to the symposiums:
MD05: Plasticity Across the Scales - From Microstructure Changes to Bulk Mechanical Behavior
Detailed information about the symposium is available at:
9th International Conference on Computational Methods, Rome, Italy, August 6-10, 2018
ICCM9- Roma - 6-10th August 2018
The International Conference for Computation Methods (ICCM) series were initiated by Professor GR Liu (University of Cincinnati OH, USA in Singapore in 2004 it has become one of the major international conferences in the related areas.
VFM course with focus on high strain rate identification
On September 3-4 2018 at the University of Southampton, there will be a 2-day intensice course on the Virtual Fields Method (VFM) with special focus on transient dynamics, with a view to identify mechanical properties of materials at high strain rates from full-field measurements using ultra-high speed imaging. This is part of the PhotoDyn project: www.photodyn.org. The programme can be downloaded here.
CSME International Congress - Advanced Manufacturing Symposium
Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineers International Congress, will be held in Toronto, Ontario at York University. The forum provides a unique opportunity to disseminate research themes, results, and new technologies. It also facilitates networking, among universities, industry, government agencies.
The Manufacturing Symposium covers all topics related to subtractive and additive (3D printing) manufacturing for design and fabrication of advanced lightweight materials, advanced composites, architected materials, and multifunctional materials and structures.
Deadline for Abstract Submission - January 15, 2018 :: WCCM 2018 , New York City : MS 1203 : Mechanics and Physics of 2D Crystalline Materials
Dear colleagues,
Happy New Year!
We invite you to present your research work at the mini-symposium - "Mechanics and Physics of 2D Crystalline Materials" (Session ID: 1203) at the World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM XIII) in New York City from July 22-27th, 2018.
